Today was an another usual day in the days of our lives so far not anymore.Because I have finally gotten into writing my first blog post.  My domain name “pacha_mannu_tamil_ponnu” needs a bit of explanation as those words are from my native tongue Tamil. Tamil is one of the most ancient and coolest languages that I have known and spoken by Tamil diaspora in  Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Middle East, Réunion, South Africa, Mauritius, Seychelles, Fiji, Guyana, Burma, Trinidad and Tobago, the French West Indies, Europe, Australia, Canada and the United States.

Now moving on to the actual task at hand which is this : the literal meaning of pacha_mannu_tamil_ponnu” would be

“pacha”=green ;”mannu”=sand;

“tamil”= Tamil (A Language);”ponnu”=girl.

Adding up literally it translates to “Green sand Tamil Girl”. Green sand here refers to the nature of the sand , green sand is a wet sand and  is suitable to make mold castings. Tamil girl refers to my ethnic origins. At this point  as we are still trying to understand the reasoning behind the choice of my title,I will proceed to  summarize as follows “I am a girl who speaks Tamil and for all intents and purposes relate very well to my ethnic roots with an impressionable mind.  Thereby “impressionable Tamil girl” (sarcasm added) is how I would choose to describe me and conclude  my cursory first post.
